50's Meal Table

Redesigned from the rural furniture of the Beira Baixa, portuguese inland, of the 1950s. This table was used to store cheese or leftover food and cutlery used in meals. It was around these small tables, often by the fireplaces to keep warm, that meals were eaten in family, after a full hard work day in agriculture and forestry.

Carved in solid pine wood from Baixa-Beira, it can be used natural or with a protective finish in beeswax or linseed oil.

3 drawer handle options, brass, wood or slotted. Produced from local pine wood
